Commercial Counsel – Global Semiconductor Company
This newly created role will focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts while partnering with sales, marketing, and product teams.
This role offers the opportunity to influence processes, support global collaboration, and drive commercial performance. As the Commercial Counsel, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and negotiating NDAs and confidentiality agreements across multiple product groups and business units
- Drafting and negotiating sales and purchase agreements, including master agreements with customers
- Supporting technology development contracts for custom chip projects after training
- Managing high-volume contract cycles with 20–30 open projects at any time
- Providing ad hoc legal support, including certifications and representation letters
- Collaborating with senior lawyers and cross‑functional teams globally
To be successful in this role our client is looking for a:
- Licensed attorney with 2–4+ years of legal experience (law firm or in‑house)
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Willingness to work 100% in‑office in Coppell, TX (with potential for limited remote flexibility)
- Cultural agility and adaptability to collaborate with global teams
- No prior semiconductor experience required – training will be provided

The salary range serves as a guide: base salary of $134,400–$168,000 plus an annual bonus. The salary offered within that range to the selected candidate will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.
