** Scope of Position:
** This highly motivated individual, as part of the Shipping Department, will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing inbound and outbound transportation activities to ensure the timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of goods.  This position reports to Logistics Supervisor. This role is onsite and is based in Fort Worth, Texas

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Load, plan, and schedule transportation for outbound and inbound shipments.
* Provide carriers with shipment information and ensure order changes are acknowledged and executed timely.
* Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support decision-making and drive operational efficiencies.
* Resolve transportation delays, service disruptions, and shipment-related issues to ensure on-time delivery.
* Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), labels, and other shipping documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.
* Assist with processing freight claims and track claims through resolution.
* Apply analytical methods and tools to monitor, understand, predict, and improve logistics operations.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop strategic solutions that enhance service, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
* Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and carriers to support shipping and transportation objectives.
* Maintain compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and customer requirements.
* Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Logistics Supervisor or Company management.

* Required Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics Management, Business Administration or similar technical degree; or may consider relevant work experience (3+ years)
* 2+ years of prior experience

* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient computer skills
* Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as ERP and TMS systems
