AZZ has an exciting opportunity for an EHS Supervisor. This role will be working out of the corporate office in Ft Worth, TX. Reporting to the Director of EHS, you will be responsible for supervising the implementation of the organization’s EHS policies and procedures.
Duties And Responsibilities- Conduct on-site safety and environmental audits to identify workplace hazards and unsafe equipment, working practices, conditions, and compliance with environmental regulations at various locations across the US and Canada.
- Oversee and coordinate activities of personnel to ensure a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with supervisory/management personnel in formulating administrative and operational policies and procedures.
- Investigate accidents, complete or verify accident reports, and liaise with specialists and health and safety authorities to identify the causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.
- Recommend changes to working conditions to ensure all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and that the organization complies with all regulations and laws, and internal safety policies and standards.
- Educate and train the organization's workforce on EHS requirements to ensure they understand and comply with the policies and standards.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports including, but not limited to, annual waste summaries, Tier II, TRI, stormwater, and air emissions.
- 3 to 5 years of EHS experience required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required.
- Excellent written and oral communication for both internal and external engagement.
- Must be able to travel 50% or more, including international travel.
- Must have a valid driver's license with no suspension.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Safety certifications are preferred.
