Job Description

AZZ has an exciting opportunity for an EHS Supervisor. This role will be working out of the corporate office in Ft Worth, TX. Reporting to the Director of EHS, you will be responsible for supervising the implementation of the organization’s EHS policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducts on-site safety and environmental audits to identify workplace hazards and unsafe equipment, working practices, working conditions and compliance with environmental regulations at various locations across the US and Canada.
  • Oversees and coordinates activities of personnel to ensure a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations.
  • Confers and cooperates with supervisory/management personnel in formulating administrative and operational policies and procedures.
  • Investigates accidents, completes or verifies accident reports, and liaises with specialists and health and safety authorities to identify the causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.
  • Recommends changes to working conditions to ensure all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and the organization complies with all regulations and laws, and internal safety policies and standards.
  • Educates and trains the organization's workforce on EHS requirements to ensure they understand and comply with the policies and standards.
  • Prepares and submits environmental reports including, but not limited to, annual waste summaries, Tier II, TRI, stormwater, and air emissions.
Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of EHS experience required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication for both internal and external engagement.
  • Must be able to travel 50% or more, international travel included.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license under no type of suspension.
  • Safety certifications are preferred.
