Project Manager – Mechanical

FPC of Hendersonville is working with a well-established commercial contractor that’s known for delivering complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects. They manage the full project lifecycle — from design and construction through to service and maintenance — supporting essential environments like healthcare, education, and commercial facilities.

We’re seeking a Project Manager who takes pride in leading project execution from planning through completion—balancing schedules, budgets, and client expectations while fostering collaboration across teams and trades.

Salary: Up to $125K + Bonus

• Ensure timely completion of high-quality projects within budget constraints, providing regular progress updates and end-of-contract cost analysis.
• Lead pre-job planning meetings, document key actions, and maintain project schedules aligned with master timelines.
• Oversee subcontract and equipment buy-outs to support scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Monitor project performance, communicate key issues promptly, and drive resolution to maintain client satisfaction.
• Review and validate project estimates, ensuring accurate cost loading in project management systems.
• Prepare and submit monthly contract billings to maintain healthy project cash flow.
• Visit job sites to assess progress, perform inspections, and address project or contract concerns.
• Promote continuous improvement by developing and refining project management policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 2–5 years of experience managing commercial mechanical construction projects.
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities effectively.
