• Own the operation – Take full accountability for budgetary performance, people development, and operational excellence across your functional area (Inbound or Outbound).
• Lead and develop leaders – Manage, coach, and mentor a team of Operations and Area Managers, setting clear expectations and holding them accountable while building the next generation of Amazon leaders.
• Drive continuous improvement – Champion Lean initiatives, process innovations, and quality programs that push your team and the FC to exceed business goals.
• Deliver a world‑class customer experience – Ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are met or exceeded every single day.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally – Partner with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and peer leaders to secure resources, share best practices, and drive site‑wide success.
• Cultivate ideas – Source and nurture innovative ideas from your team, translating them into actionable improvement plans that raise the bar across the network.
• Share best practices – Take proactive steps to ensure best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and the broader network.

• Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds each
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
• Walking in the FC and around area with great frequency; facilities are over a quarter mile in length
• Continual standing and/or walking an average of 5 miles daily
• Ability to work in construction / distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, unheated, not air‑conditioned
• Able to access all areas of building (ascending and descending ladders, stairs, gangways safely and without limitation)

• DFW7 is a Fulfillment Center located in Haslet, TX, part of the Dallas‑Fort Worth metroplex, one of the fastest‑growing metro areas in the United States
• Haslet is a small, family‑friendly community in Tarrant County with a population that has grown rapidly in recent years, offering a blend of suburban charm and proximity to big‑city amenities
• Just minutes from the Fort Worth Stockyards, a National Historic District featuring live cattle drives, western‑themed dining, shopping, and entertainment
• Outdoor recreation:
  The area offers access to Eagle Mountain Lake for boating, fishing, and waterfront dining, as well as the Trinity Trail system with over 100 miles of paved trails for biking, running, and walking
• The DFW metroplex is home to world‑class sports teams, including the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, and Dallas Stars
• Year‑round activities:
  Hiking, mountain biking, lake sports, rodeos, and community events including the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, one of the oldest and largest livestock shows in the country

• Work flexible hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holidays
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 7+ years direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment
• Prior experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques
