Engineer supporting the Engineering Manufacturing team, you are responsible for handling facilities, equipment, and personnel to manufacture medical device products, following established standards and procedures (e.g., cGMP and SOPs), driving growth, and optimizing and improving the manufacturing process. This role will support 24/7 plant operations.

Base pay range$55.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Qualifications- Experience in a regulated industry (manufacturing preferred).
- PLC/SCADA/Vision System Programming.
- Machine Integration.
- Machine Specifications, Procurement, Install, and Validation for Packaging.
- Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for equipment installation.
- Design arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
- Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
- Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
- Develop user and design requirements, select equipment vendors, or complete the technology design and equipment build.
- Manage the installation of automation systems while ensuring safety, and validate the automated system for alignment to requirements, CGMPs, and intended system operation.
- Support Automation Technicians in situations where problem solving, or technology may fall outside of their area of expertise.
- Interact with production supervisors/managers to identify areas to improve equipment efficiency, flexibility, quality, safety, and/or reliability.
- Implement automation solutions resulting from MNC investigations or CAPA assignments.
- Plan and carry out engineering project work with minimal direction.
- Troubleshoot equipment/process control systems and change control activities.
- Program PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and inspection systems.
- Design and implement modifications to the existing manufacturing equipment that will improve the operational efficiencies.
