Material Handler - 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm)
OverviewUS Conec is seeking a reliable and safety‑conscious Material Handler to support our manufacturing operations in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you’ll be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting materials across the facility to ensure smooth production flow. You’ll work closely with production teams, quality control, and warehouse staff to maintain organization, accuracy, and safety in all material handling activities.
Responsibilities- Follow work orders or verbal instructions to determine materials to move
- Open containers and prepare materials for use or inspection
- Load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
- Secure materials in vehicles using strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage during transit
- Transport materials from storage or work sites to designated areas
- Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and mark containers with relevant information
- Deliver labeled samples to quality control for analysis
- Assist machine operators by lifting heavy objects and cleaning work areas and equipment
- Operate a forklift to move materials and products as needed
- Observe safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions
- Use equipment and materials properly and responsibly
- High school diploma or equivalent; or up to one month of related experience/training
- Ability to follow simple instructions and handle routine tasks with consistency
- Basic knowledge of software applications
- Ability to balance team collaboration with individual responsibility
