• Clean and prepare surfaces. (Masking, grit blasting or chemical prep)
• Prepare paints. A high degree of accuracy is required. Use of viscosity cups, thickness gauges and gloss gauges to test makeup of paint and an understanding of chemistry mix of compounds is required.
• Clean work area. Knowledgeable in the safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemical and waste.
• Maintain equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining paint equipment and troubleshooting.
• Experience in high-end automotive or industrial equipment paint prepping. Sign industry experience preferred.
• Painters’ only – Previous Experience painting in high-end automotive or industrial equipment environments.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment
• Other duties as required

• Experience in a fast-paced, high-production work environments
• Read, write, and speak English
• Self-motivated and work well in a team and independently

• Previous Paint Prep experience required

• May be required to stand for long periods of time
• May involve some repetitive motions
• Must be able to lift to 75 pounds.
• May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
• Ability to be fitted for a Respirator, both Medically and Physically
• Will be required to be certified as a Forklift Operator by Pattison
• Will be required to be certified as an Overhead Crane Operator by Pattison
• Others as deemed required by company to be safe for your role.
