We're seeking a Facility & Safety Specialist who thrives in a hands‑on environment where safety, compliance, and operational excellence come first.
Hours & PaySchedule: Monday‑Friday, 7:30 AM‑4:30 PM (occasional nights/weekends as needed)
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Employment Type: Temp‑to‑Hire
Experience Level: Non‑entry level (2+ years of safety experience required)
Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 lbs

What You'll Do Each Day- Lead and manage facility safety programs to maintain OSHA and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain safety records, document incidents, and prepare materials for audits.
- see daily facility operations, including building security, fire safety, and equipment upkeep.
- Coordinate HVAC, electrical, janitorial and other contractors to ensure compliant and safe work.
- Inspect and maintain safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and First Aid Kits.
- Support facility enhancements, renovations, and safe material handling practices.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, internal safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform physical inspections throughout the facility and assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed.
- 2+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility.
- Strong understanding of OSHA standards, local building codes, and general safety regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform facility inspections across the building.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer programs (Word, Excel).
- Ability to coordinate contractors and manage safety documentation.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility during an 8‑hour shift; desk work included.
- Experience in facilities project management.
- Experience leading safety committees or driving safety initiatives.
