Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Quality Assurance Technician (Hands‑on inspection operator), located in Fort Worth, TX. The Quality Assurance Technician will perform inspections, implement quality control processes, oversee calibrations, and assist in maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities also include evaluating materials, identifying defects, validating products against specifications, and collaborating with the team to drive improvements in quality management systems.
This is a manufacturing quality inspection role on the production floor. This position is not related to software testing, data analytics, or IT quality assurance. This position is a hands‑on role responsible for inspecting molded plastic parts, verifying dimensions using gauges and calipers, documenting results, and working directly with production and tooling teams to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Proficiency in Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes to maintain and improve standards.
- Strong Quality Management skills, including experience with quality systems and regulatory compliance.
- Analytical skills for identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Experience in proper handling and application of calibration methods and practices.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality results.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a team‑oriented environment.
- Familiarity with precision plastic injection molding is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications or an associate degree in quality control, engineering, or related fields is preferred.
- Manufacturing and production floor environment.
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Frequent use of hand measurement tools.
- Exposure to noise, machinery, and molded plastic parts.
