Welder​/Fitter - 2nd Shift

Full-time Welder / Fitter on 2nd shift at the Fort Worth shop. Fit and weld production parts to drawings.

The Fort Worth welding floor has 30 manual MIG/TIG bays and 3 OTC welding robots (including a 16 ft slider). Shop weld qualifications are AWS D1.1, D1.3, 80K, and 100K.

• Full-time Welder / Fitter on 2nd shift in Fort Worth.
• The welding floor has 3 OTC welding robots (including a 16 ft slider) and 30 manual MIG/TIG bays. This role is fit-up and welding on that floor, so you work around robotic welding and can learn it here.
• 2 Fort Worth locations totaling more than 100,000 square feet.
• The shop's welding work is qualified to AWS D1.1, D1.3, 80K, and 100K.

• Fit weldments to the drawing before welding.
• Weld production parts with MIG or TIG as the job requires.
• Sawing, grinding, deburring, and prep.
• Check fit and weld quality before the part moves on.
• Work 2nd shift, full-time, in Fort Worth.

• 2+ years fitting structural and sheet metal to print.
• Read and interpret blueprints, and hold 1/16 to 1/32 in. tolerances.
• 2+ years TIG (GTAW) on carbon steel.
• MIG (GMAW, pulse, flux) preferred.
• Able to pass an AWS D1.1 qualification test.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to lift 25-50 lbs.

A welding test is given, so bring your own helmet and gloves.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, in person in Fort Worth, TX 76119.
