PSFW Organization Impact Specialist VISTA

Join Ameri Corps as a PSFW Organization Impact Specialist VISTA and help expand Parent Shield Fort Worth’s programs to disrupt poverty and ensure all children in Tarrant County receive high-quality education.

This project will expand the reach of Parent Shield Fort Worth’s programs by increasing funding and community outreach, and strengthening marketing impact to prepare students for future success.

• Research the organization, develop quality proposals, and write grants.
• Compile demographics and research funding sources.
• Draft narratives and identify resources needed by families.
• Create a tracking system of community resource organizations to avoid duplication.
• Coordinate joint events, projects, and initiatives with partners.
• Identify new organizations to collaborate with.
• Create compelling content, fundraising appeals, donor spotlights, and event invitations.
