Job Summary

The Community Partnerships Support Staff (Temporary) assists the Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains in the administration and operations of the Girl Scout cookie program. This includes managing cookie inventory, supporting cookie distributions, maintaining accurate data in ABC Smart Cookies, and providing other program-related support.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and able to work independently. This role supports Community Partnerships Specialists in ensuring smooth cookie operations while allowing staff to focus on programming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages and tracks cookie inventory, including organizing, counting, and reconciling shipments
  • Assists with cookie distribution at community centers and other designated locations
  • Enters accurate data in ABC Smart Cookies and other internal systems
  • Manages receipts, documentation, and recordkeeping for all cookie-related transactions
  • Supports Community Partnerships Specialists & Lead with additional cookie program tasks as assigned
  • Assists with preparation and setup for cookie events or distributions
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies and procedures
  • Must be professional in appearance, respectful, enthusiastic, and polite to members, prospects, volunteers, community partners, coworkers, and others
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Senior Lead Community Partnerships Girl Experience

Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required
  • Commitment to the mission and purpose of Girl Scouting
  • Membership in Girl Scout organization
  • Must be willing to work with all people without regard to race, religion, ethnic origin, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, or disability
  • Enjoy working with girls of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities
  • Experience with inventory management, data entry, or administrative support preferred
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and produce results
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including travel, nights, and weekends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Verbal fluency, good grammar, and professional appearance
  • Have and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, acceptable insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Must complete and pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle records check and drug screening
