Provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, continually evaluating each patient's condition and ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. Assists physicians in procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation and sterile techniques, as appropriate. Delivers comprehensive patient care for patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
- Active RN license in the state.
- Board‑level BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required.
- 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
- Capacity to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
