Momentum Spine and Joint (76104) is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Ft. Worth, TX. The Nurse Practitioner will provide medical services to patients, inclusive of all functions necessary to provide medical care under the direction of the physician and in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Texas.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments (initial, ongoing, discharge), identify normal/abnormal health characteristics, develop plan of care, initiate appropriate interventions, and evaluate outcomes for defined patient populations.
  • Perform delegated functions under physician supervision, such as differential diagnosis, use of prescriptive authority, and treatment according to practice guidelines, protocols, and/or standing orders.
  • Accept accountability for healthcare outcomes.
  • Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to work autonomously as defined by the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to manage and coordinate patient care.
  • Record accurate consultation data and maintain the medical record, ensuring it is completed on the same day as the patient visit.
  • Order and interpret necessary invasive and non‑invasive diagnostic tests, and provide evidence‑based, cost‑effective, individualized patient care.
  • Contribute to the practice’s quality targets and uphold internal policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Ensure patients are seen promptly, maintaining a reasonable on‑time schedule for appointments.
  • Respond to requests for information, including sending faxes and e‑mails.
  • Report statistics and maintain confidentiality of patient records in accordance with policy, procedure, and HIPAA requirements.
  • Follow all safety rules, report and correct safety hazards, and communicate hazards identified in the workplace.
  • Travel as necessary to other facilities.
  • Perform other job‑related duties and special projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and E‑Clinical.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, patient interaction, and teaching ability.
  • Collaboration skills for working with partners and patients to practice nursing effectively.
  • High level of energy, empathy, and a compassionate demeanor toward patients.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks.
  • Ability to diagnose, plan, implement nursing interventions, and evaluate patient condition.
  • Ability to present information clearly to managers, patients, and the public.
  • Problem‑solving skills to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Time‑management skills to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain timely patient flow.
  • Capacity to respond quickly to changes in patient condition or priority.
  • Adaptability and openness to change in a dynamic workplace.
  • Independent work habits with minimal supervision.
  • Stress tolerance and calm handling of high‑stress situations.
  • Maintenance of current licensure and credentials, with an active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) designation in Texas.
Education and Experience
  • Master’s degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) designation from the Texas Board of Nursing.
  • Prescriptive authority privileges through the State of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
