Join the Medical City Las Colinas team as a Nurse Manager for the Med‑Surg department. The role leads department functions, ensures alignment with hospital mission, and fosters practice improvements.

• 24/7 leadership of all departmental functions.
• Alignment of systems, support business of the department, focus on people, services, financial stewardship.
• Establish effective working relationships with patients, families, physicians, peers and other departments.
• Day‑to‑day operational oversight including payroll, hiring, counseling, coaching, orientation, competency validation and annual evaluations.

• Provide clinical leadership and decision making for the department.
• Develop and implement departmental strategy and deliver on quality, patient safety, and financial goals.
• Lead staffing planning, scheduling, competence validation, and performance management.
• Ensure best practices, continuous improvement, and collaborative culture.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Texas State RN or RN Compact License acceptable under eNLC guidelines.
• 2+ years as Department Director or Manager experience.
