Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU night shift position requiring a TX or compact RN license and NRP certification.
Responsibilities
• Position is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on the 3rd Floor
• Work setting is a hospital environment with a focus on neonatal patient care
• Night shift schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment duration
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Provide direct and specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU
• Responsible for monitoring and supporting complex neonatal cases
• Must submit copies of certifications and license verification for consideration
• Holiday coverage may be required as part of the assignment
Requirements
• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent NICU experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced 9th Edition certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• At least one professional reference required (two for candidates with licensure in Florida or Missouri)
