American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 1 year of specialty experience and Meditech EMR proficiency.

• Ortho Neuro Med Surg unit on the 3rd floor of Tower B
• 30-bed unit with approximately 31.2 FTE staff
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Uses Spine and Ortho braces as specialized equipment
• Common procedures include total knees, laminectomy, VP shunt revision, fusions, total hip, ORIF, and ACDF
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating to other Med Surg units required
• 4 weekends required within a 4-week period

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• 1 year of recent Med Surg experience required
• Meditech EMR experience required
• Certification and Spine/Ortho background preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

• Strong teamwork skills valued on this unit
• Scrub color/attire is Royal Blue
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
