Sage Group Health Care Staffing is seeking multiple Travel RN Labor and Delivery for 13-week travel/contract positions in Dallas, TX. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Contract Length: 8 weeks with possible extensions. Accepting both local and travelers (those within 60 miles from the facility are considered local)
Pay Rate:
Range $2016 to $2340 Weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

- Current Labor & Delivery Nursing experience:2 years
- Required - Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring experience (within last 2 years) – Required
- Prior travel experience:
Highly preferred - COVID Vaccinations or exemptions

- Required - BLS Certification from AHA
- Required - ACLS Certification from AHSA – Required

- Provides care to assigned patient population in accordance with established protocols and multidisciplinary plan of care utilizing independent,dependent, and interdependent interventions to restore stability, prevent complications, and achieve and maintain optimal patient responses for all patients through patient centered/patient valued care.
- Performs appropriate patient assessments including continuous surveillance. Recognizes changes in a patient’s condition and provides appropriate interventions as necessary.
- Consults with other team members as required, notifies providers toreport changes in patient condition and implements orders in a timely manner.
- Exercises independent judgment in providing safe nursing care to the laboring patient, stable neonate, recovering, ECU and postpartum patient.
- Performs appropriate duties during the laboring process, and delivery,and during the immediate postpartum period.
- Supports breastfeeding and provides education related to newborn.
- Provides safe medication administration
- Maintains accurate and timely entries and notations in patient care records and hospital documents.
- All other duties within the scope of practice and skillset as assigned.
