American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position requiring ICU and PACU experience with TX or compact RN licensure.

• Work in a 26-bed Post-Anesthesia Care Unit located next to the OR
• Patient population includes General, Neuro, Oncology, Orthopedics, and Vascular surgical cases
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Varied shift times between 8a-8p, 9a-9p, or 10a-10p
• On-call responsibilities required, including one night per week and two weekends within the 13-week contract
• Floating to Day Surgery required
• Block scheduling not available

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU experience required
• ICU experience required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Provide perianesthesia nursing care following ASPAN guidelines across a variety of surgical specialties
• Day shift staffed with charge nurse and usually a float nurse, night shift covered by on-call PACU nurses
• Scrub attire must be royal blue or hospital-provided scrubs
• Facility features state-of-the-art equipment and an experienced, supportive staff
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and no local candidates will be considered
