American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN Circulator for a travel assignment requiring TX or compact RN licensure and trauma call readiness at a surgical hospital setting.

• Work as an RN Circulator in a First Floor OR within a surgical hospital setting
• 7-bed unit with a small team including 1 OR RN and 2 CSTs on day shift
• Handle 4 to 5 surgical cases per team
• Perform circulating duties including positioning patients, prepping for surgery, and monitoring equipment
• Typical procedures include total joints, hip replacements, tibia/fibula, ankle/foot, midfoot joint surgeries, plastics (breast reduction, expansion, reconstruction/DIEP flap), and robotic surgeries (XI and DV5)
• Schedule consists of 6-7 days plus 1 weekend per month, working either 3x12 hour or 4x10 hour shifts
• Shift hours from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call requirement of 4 to 5 call days at the Alliance campus
• Floating required between the Surgical Hospital and Alliance campus to share staff

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent experience in the OR specialty required
• 3+ years of experience preferred for Circulators
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

• Must take trauma call at the main campus as needed
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic valued for team fit
• Surgical services team has an average tenure of 3+ years
• Not requesting time off is preferred for this assignment
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
