A CMM operator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of a CMM to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications. Working onsite in a TRIGO ADR facility or at our customers’ location, applicants must have aerospace and manufacturing experience with well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to follow processes and procedures established by CMM programmers.

Essential Functions
  • Perform and run existing programs utilizing programs such as: PCDMIS, CALYPSO, or other programming languages.
  • Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents.
  • Review inspection records received for compliance.
  • Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
  • Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for nonconforming parts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including incoming inspection and shipping/receiving.
  • Experience or knowledge with other inspection devices such as 3D scanners, FARO arms, etc.
Knowledge
  • Microsoft Office Products.
  • FAI's – AS9102.
  • Hand measurement tools.
  • CMM inspection processes and procedures.
  • GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
  • Blueprint interpretation.

Experience & Education
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent or Higher.
  • 2 years of CMM experience.
  • 2 years of aerospace/manufacturing experience.
Licenses, Certificates & Other Requirements
  • US citizenship required.
  • Fluent English – reading and writing required.
  • Pass pre‑hire background check including MVR screening.
  • Pass pre‑hire drug screening.
  • Reliable transportation – must have current/active driver's license and auto insurance.
Working Conditions

Incumbents must perform work efficiently, effectively, and timely with minimal direction. Physical requirements include light lifting, sitting for prolonged periods, standing, walking (1‑2 miles a day), reach with hands and arms, and occasional driving long distances to suppliers. Vision sufficient to read documents and observe behavior of others. Typical manufacturing plant environment with moderate to high noise level. Typical hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with occasional extended hours and weekend overtime.
