Position OverviewThe position will participate in the administration and monitoring of all ITR clinical research studies, projects and/or clinical trials. They will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating clinical data gathered during research and ensuring compliance with protocol and overall clinical objectives.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree and one year experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Employees in this job may be responsible for conducting research on, working on, or having the ability to access critical organizational infrastructure and must maintain the security and integrity of the infrastructure related to this role.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
Skills And Abilities
- Knowledge of scientific research techniques, methods and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with fellow researchers, staff members, faculty, supervisors and students.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Academic writing skills.
- Conduct face-to-face and/or telephone interviews with participants in accordance with predetermined interview protocol, data collection procedures and documentation standards.
- Participate in community recruitment of research participants and screening into studies and projects.
- Conduct neuropsychological testing with participants in studies and projects.
- Coordinate data entry, merge files, complete quality control checks, and manage collected data.
- Score interviews, conduct research protocols and perform statistical analysis.
- Administer functional research exams for participants in studies and projects.
- Perform administrative tasks such as copying, preparing research materials and filing as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguard confidentiality of subjects, and perform any other duties as required.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Sedentary work primarily involving sitting/standing.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- No adverse environmental conditions expected.
