What You’ll Do:
Our Cook is responsible for the flawless preparation and presentation of the menu created by the Executive Chef and for making sure our guests receive an unparalleled dining experience. No pressure.
Here are just some of the tasks you’ll be responsible for on a daily basis:
Prepare food consistent with recipe cards.
Start with food items prepared ahead of time, making sure not to over-prepare for estimated needs.
Return all unused food items to the designated storage areas for the next shift.
Operate and properly clean cooking and kitchen equipment and supplies.
Where You’ve Been:
You have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience as a prep line/cook. Most importantly, you’re someone who is capable of thinking on your feet and able to keep up in high-pressure situations. If that sounds like you, go ahead and apply!
When You’re Here:
This probably goes without saying, but you’ll be on your feet a lot. There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs, and working on slippery floors. You also must be able to accommodate varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
But wait, there’s a great upside: in exchange for your flexibility, we offer excellent pay, hotel discounts, F&B discounts, a $250 sign-on bonus after successfully completing 90 days of employment, and the opportunity to be part of an anything-but-standard growing hotel company.
