• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and shelf tags.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and coworkers.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

• Assist customers with bakery purchases and take special orders.
• Clean shelving, display cases, and the bakery area.
• Rotate and replenish self‑serve displays in the front of the store and bakery.
• Work with the Baker to determine items that need baking or decorating.
• Maintain department cleanliness by hosing down floors with soap and water.
• Ensure all food handling procedures comply with the Food Handler Card certification.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.
