What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Lead the implementation of a patient-centric model involving physicians, clinics, and hospitals
  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships with Centers of Excellence, academic institutions, and health systems
  • Serve as the authority on resources available to support healthcare providers advocating for rare disease patients
  • Execute strategic business and account plans based on market conditions and brand strategies
  • Provide educational support and high-level clinical education to healthcare providers managing patients with rare CAH disease
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • BS/BA degree AND 8+ years of sales experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, including 5+ years calling on prescribers of specialized products
  • Proven sales performance with quantifiable accomplishments in specialty pharmaceutical or biotech markets
  • Experience with Salesforce automation platforms and business intelligence tools
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory environments and market access fundamentals
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Master’s degree preferred AND 6+ years of relevant experience, or PhD AND 4+ years of experience
  • Experience in rare diseases and previous market development experience
  • Endocrine experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, analyze, and interpret sales data for business opportunities
  • Passion for patient and caregiver programs
