Subject to the ultimate supervision, direction and control of the Company, the In‑House Loan Officer will focus on serving homebuilders and repeat clients, while also nurturing relationships with real estate agents. This role involves converting high‑quality, company‑provided leads into closed loans by making a minimum of 50 outbound calls daily to builders, repeat buyers, prospective borrowers, and agent partners. No prior mortgage experience is required—we will train and pay for the right candidate to obtain their NMLS Residential Mortgage Loan Originator (RMLO) license.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn, committed to helping builders and repeat clients, and has a strong work ethic to excel in Dallas’s competitive market.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead Conversion: Follow up on company‑provided leads from homebuilders (e.g., new construction pre‑sales), repeat clients, and agent referrals to pre‑qualify and convert prospects into loan applications.
- Outbound Calls: Make a minimum of 50 outbound calls daily to engage builders, repeat buyers, and agents, ensuring consistent follow‑up and relationship nurturing.
- Loan Origination: Guide clients through the mortgage process, from pre‑approval to closing.
- Product Expertise: Learn and offer financing solutions tailored to builders and repeat clients, including Purchase and Refinance for FHA, VA, conventional, construction‑to‑permanent loans, and first‑time/move‑up buyer programs (e.g., Texas First‑Time Homebuyer Program, down payment assistance).
- Builder Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with Dallas‑area homebuilders, attending builder open houses, model home events, and trade shows to promote financing solutions for new construction projects.
- Repeat Client Focus: Develop strategies to retain and re‑engage past clients for move‑up purchases or refinancing, leveraging CRM tools to track and nurture long‑term relationships.

Collaboration:
Partner with real estate agents to support their clients while prioritizing builder‑driven deals; attend sponsored events like builder showcases or mixers to expand referral networks. - Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all loan applications meet federal, Texas state, and company compliance standards; maintain accurate records in CRM systems (training provided).
- Market Awareness: Stay informed on Dallas’s 2025 housing trends (e.g., median home price ~$400,000 in Dallas County, per recent North Texas market data) and new construction developments to provide expert guidance to builders and repeat clients.

Work with processors, underwriters, and marketing teams to streamline closings and support company‑sponsored builder and real estate events.
