Market Area Sales Manager (Environmental Services)
Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Greenmark Waste Solutions (“Greenmark”) is a locally‑owned solid waste and recycling collection company. Greenmark serves industrial, commercial, and construction markets across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and operates as Home Town Disposal in the Memphis metroplex, where we serve the residential market.

POSITION SUMMARYFor this role, we are looking for a true sales leader that understands how to build a team, serve the team, and lead by example. The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing or leading sales peers to sell a service‑based solution to business‑to‑business customers (B2B).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Teaches, maintains, and reinforces the corporate sales strategy and design with the sales team.
- Establishes and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Communicates to and works with market area management to resolve unique prospective customer issues.
- Demonstrates outstanding management and customer service skills to motivate sales team members.
- Maintains an ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring program in order to develop the skills of the sales team.
- Supervises activities of the sales team and ensures that team members meet or exceed sales call activity, sales pipeline growth, and new sales revenue and profitability.
- Effectively manages, maintains, and ensures the use of sales tools and processes (i.e. Prospect Management, Proposal Program, Pricing Tools, etc.). Ensures entire sales team is well trained in the use of these tools. Deep personal understanding of all sales tools.
- Provides expert industry knowledge and interpretation to the sales team and customers.
- Assists in the communication and maintenance of the market area's pricing and service strategies.
- Ability to generate profitable new account revenue.
- Focus on serving customers and discern actionable steps to help customers.
- Be a brand ambassador for Greenmark, driving a culture of excellence and true partnership with team members, customers and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 4+ years of sales experience, including direct business-to-business sales, business-to-business cold calling, and door to door business-to-business prospecting resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments and proven success at higher-level sales
- Industry experience in waste/recycling services, construction, industrial services, or environmental services is a plus
- Prior supervisory role experience
- Experience with CRM tools
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout metroplex to meet with prospective and current customers.
- Strong ability to build authentic relationships
- Strong skills in setting up, utilizing, and optimizing modern sales technology
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
