Aboutthe Role
As an Acquisition Associate – Mineral & Royalty Acquisitions, you will be on the front lines of the company's growth strategy. This is a sales-first role centered on initiating conversations with mineral owners, negotiating transactions, and closing deals. You will manage the acquisition process end-to-end, from first contact through execution, in a performance-driven environment where persistence, resilience, and follow-up are critical.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in high-volume outbound sales and relationship-driven deal making.
Conduct high-volume outbound calling, texting, and emailing to mineral owners
Initiate conversations, build rapport, and uncover seller motivation
Negotiate mineral, royalty, and related asset transactions
Maintain disciplined follow-up to convert leads into closed deals over short or extended sales cycles
Manage pipeline activity, notes, and follow-ups within the CRM system (Zoho)
Own acquisition opportunities from first contact through closing
Operate in a fast-paced, performance-driven sales environment with daily activity expectations
Collaborate with internal valuation and execution teams while remaining focused on sales and closing
1–3 years of experience in high-volume sales, cold calling, or transactional closing roles
Comfort with rejection and working in metrics-driven environments
Competitive, resilient, and self-motivated personality
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Experience using CRM systems preferred (Zoho a plus, not required)
Oil and gas industry experience helpful but not required
Base salary up to $65,000+, based on experience
