As the Vice President, Sales - Hotels for Tripleseat, you will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, customer retention, and revenue growth in the hotel industry. You will work closely with the Chief Growth Officer (CRO) to develop and implement strategic sales plans that focus on promoting Tripleseat's software solutions for managing hotel events. Your expertise in sales, particularly in the SaaS industry selling to hotels, will be essential in achieving sales targets and expanding Tripleseat's market adoption, product usage, and customer base.

With your leadership skills, technical acumen, and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, you will ensure operational excellence in sales processes, mentor and develop the sales team, and contribute to the overall success of Tripleseat in the hotel industry.

What you will do:
  • Collaborate closely with the CGO to develop and execute sales strategies to drive market adoption, expansion, renewals, and product usage of Tripleseat event management software in the hotel industry.
  • Take ownership of sales targets and work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue goals in the assigned territories.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to ensure growth and development.
  • Oversee the day‑to‑day activities of sales regions, providing guidance and accountability for all metrics and sales methodology to ensure operational excellence.
  • Participate in the hiring, onboarding, and training of new sales representatives, providing performance feedback and participating in performance‑related conversations.
  • Address any problems occurring across teams or with potential customers, presenting solutions and providing assistance to ensure successful deal closures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other internal teams on sales data and reporting, customer marketing initiatives, and case studies.
  • Utilize a data‑driven mindset, leveraging metrics and insights for informed decision‑making in sales strategies and processes.
  • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving capabilities in a fast‑paced startup environment, adapting to changes and challenges.
  • Foster strong relationships with all levels of the organization and act as a key representative of Tripleseat in the hotel industry.
  • Provide excellent verbal and written communication skills in all interactions, including presentations, negotiations, and correspondence.
What we are looking for:
  • 10+ years of experience in a SaaS sales environment, with a proven track record of success in selling to hotels or the hospitality industry, ideally at the executive level.
  • Proven experience in managing successful dispersed sales teams of 8+, including hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Strong technical expertise with Salesforce and other sales‑related tools, with the ability to leverage technology for sales productivity and effectiveness.
  • Data‑driven mindset with a track record of utilizing metrics and insights for informed decision‑making, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
  • Solid problem‑solving capabilities in a fast‑paced startup environment, with the ability to adapt to changes and challenges while maintaining a solution‑oriented approach.
  • Experience working closely with all levels of an organization, from individual contributors to C‑level executives, with a track record of building and maintaining strong business relationships.
