As we expand our fuel card program, we're looking for a driven and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team.
Position OverviewAs an Outside Sales Representative, you'll identify and develop new business opportunities for Reeder's fleet fuel card program. This is a high-impact, relationship-focused role ideal for a proactive sales professional with strong networking, presentation, and closing skills.
Travel is required as necessary within territory.
Key Responsibilities as a Fuel Card Sales Representative- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in industries such as transportation, logistics, and construction
- Present Reeder's fuel card offerings to fleet managers, business owners, and key decision-makers
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, presentations, contract negotiation, and onboarding
- Maintain accurate CRM records and activity reports
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and retention
- Represent Reeder Distributors at industry events and in the field
- Travel throughout territory as needed to meet with clients and prospects
- Proven B2B outside sales experience (fuel, fleet, or transportation-related sales preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and accountability
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable using CRM tools and basic technology for reporting and communication
- Willingness to travel as required
- Experience selling fleet fuel cards, commercial fuel services, or transportation-related products
- Existing network or customer base in relevant industries
- Familiarity with cardlock networks and fleet management tools
- Base salary plus commission (uncapped earning potential)
