Sales Manager - Capital Equipment

Remote, North Mid-Atlantic Region

Projected Base Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000; commensurate with experience, plus performance-based uncapped incentives

Our client is seeking an assertive, results-driven Sales Manager to expand their presence across commercial manufacturing and defense markets. This individual will be responsible for developing and managing a robust sales pipeline, identifying new business opportunities, conducting executive-level customer meetings, and negotiating and closing capital equipment sales ranging from $100,000 to $500,000. Products may include CNC machine tools, injection molding systems, additive manufacturing equipment, automation solutions, and related manufacturing technologies.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of successful capital equipment sales experience within manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, defense, or related sectors. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of prospecting, territory development, pipeline management, contract negotiation, and consistently achieving revenue targets. Experience selling technical manufacturing equipment, working with engineering and operations teams, and managing long sales cycles is highly preferred.

This position requires a self-motivated hunter mentality, strong presentation and relationship-building skills, and the ability to travel throughout the North Mid-Atlantic region. The successful candidate will be expected to drive new customer acquisition, expand existing accounts, maintain accurate CRM forecasting, and serve as a trusted advisor to customers seeking advanced manufacturing solutions.
