Molson Coors is hiring for an Analytical Microbiological Specialist in the Quality Department in Brewery Operations.

• Performs, interprets, and evaluates chemical and microbiological analyses.
• Develops, trends, and summarizes analytical and microbiological information.
• Monitors, calibrates, and maintains laboratory equipment and ensures appropriate levels of quality supplies.
• Facilitates quality improvement and problem solving.
• Has a proven track record of achievement in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrable evidence of driving World Class Supply Initiatives to deliver on challenging objectives.
• Confident, professional, and exercises great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in a science related field of study or extensive micro laboratory/brewing experience (Preferred degrees in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cereal Science, Microbiology, Food Science, Agronomy, Chemical Engineering) and/or 1+ years experience in quality related processes.
• Knowledge of the principles and techniques of microbiology and chemistry.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment, instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of statistical methods and computer skills.
• Ability to work a rotational shift and weekends as they come up.

• Relevant science degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience performing microbiological/chemical analyses in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
