What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence and conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those that may require an armed response.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control procedures, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required.
• Assist customers, staff, and/or visitors with security-related questions and directions within the retail environment.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Hold a Level III armed certification if located in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
