The PPO is the first line of defense for Bell facilities. This person is an armed security officer who assists in controlling access to all Bell Fort Worth/Arlington/Grand Prairie facilities.
EducationHigh School education or equivalent
Experience1 year of experience in Security and/or Industrial Security or related field
Skills/Certifications- Must obtain and maintain a Secret U. S. Government Security Clearance notwithstanding Collective Bargaining Agreement Article XX, Section 92(B) and (C)
- Must obtain and maintain a Texas Private Security Bureau Commissioned Security Officer Level 3 Certification within one hundred and twenty (120) day probationary period
- Maintain a valid Texas State Class C Driver’s License
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field
- Background in Industrial Security or related field
- CPR/First Aid/AED certifications
- Private Security Act (2017) - Texas Occupations Code, Title 10. Occupations related to Law Enforcement and Security, Chapter 1702 Private Security
- Texas Administration Code (2019) - Title 37 Public Safety and Corrections, Part 1 Texas Department of Public Safety, Chapter 35 Private Security
- National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (DoD 5220.22-M)
- Complete Department of Homeland Security, FEMA Certification Courses: IS-100 – Introduction to the Incident Management System, IS-200 – IC S for Single Resource and Initial Action Plan, IS-700 – Introduction into the National Incident Management System, IS-800 – National Response Framework
