** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Perform armed patrol duties throughout assigned facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, conducting regular and random patrols to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public emergency responders as directed by post orders.

+ Prepare accurate reports, maintain required logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives, and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable policies and licensing requirements.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
