** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and control entry of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and public emergency responders as directed.

+ Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrol activities, incidents, access-control events, and equipment status.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.

+ Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
