** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

+ Perform armed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including perimeter boundaries, parking areas, and restricted locations, to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.

+ Monitor access points and verify credentials and authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries entering controlled areas.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; provide appropriate notifications and documentation in accordance with site procedures.

+ Maintain required armed officer certifications, carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws and company policies, and complete accurate daily activity and incident reports.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.

+ Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
