Plumbing Superintendent – Commercial Mechanical Contracting

Location: Fort Worth, TX (On-site)

Position Overview

The Plumbing Superintendent is responsible for managing all field operations related to the plumbing scope on major commercial projects. This role calls for an experienced professional who can lead field teams, coordinate multiple trades, and deliver complex plumbing systems that meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise commercial plumbing crews installing domestic water, sanitary, storm, and gas systems
    .

  • Maintain compliance with OSHA 30 and company safety protocols on every project.

  • Review and interpret plumbing layouts, blueprints, and technical specifications
    .

  • Coordinate seamlessly with piping and sheet metal teams to ensure project integration.

  • Manage daily field reports, productivity tracking, and as-built documentation
    .

  • Mentor and develop foremen, journeymen, and apprentices , promoting best practices and continuous skill growth.

  • Forecast labor, material, and equipment needs to keep projects on schedule and budget.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in commercial plumbing construction.

  • Texas Master Plumber License preferred (or ability to obtain).

  • Proven background in hospital, data center, or high-rise plumbing projects
    .

  • OSHA 30 certification required ; proficiency with Procore or Bluebeam preferred.

  • Ability to meet physical demands typical of commercial construction.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass all required screenings.
