Industrial Maintenance Technician Warehouse
Company: Ryder System, Inc.
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full‑time Warehouse Maintenance Technician.
Schedule: Second Shift, Tuesday‑Friday 4:30 pm – 3:00 am
Hourly Pay: $30.00 per hour

- Vocational or Technical certification in the related field or 3 years of relevant experience (in lieu of certification)
- Knowledge of 480 V and pneumatic equipment (intermediate)
- Working knowledge of computer‑based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems (intermediate)
- Demonstrated independent problem‑solving capability (intermediate)
- Experience with PLC and HMI Programming (Allen Bradley, Ignition, Wonderware) – preferred, intermediate
- Understanding of 24 VDC control systems, photoelectric & proximity sensors (intermediate)
- Programming/troubleshooting of Servo and Stepper motors and related software (intermediate)
- Ability to troubleshoot/program Bar Code Scanners and Vision Systems (Cognex, Datalogic, Keyence, etc.) – intermediate
- Warehouse Maintenance safety procedures (Lock Out/Tag Out, Fall Restraint, Forklift/MHE Operational Safety) – intermediate
- Knowledge of operating MHE (Forklift, Scissor Lift, Boom Lift, etc.) – intermediate
- Ability to work independently in a safe manner, including at heights
- Ensure preventive maintenance entries into software are complete and accurate
- Use computerized maintenance management systems effectively to keep the department organized and communicate with plant and corporate management
- Maintain and insure spare parts inventories and consignment inventories in accordance with procedures
- Participate in the continual development and improvement of maintenance policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures for the facility
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area; facility always tour‑ready
- Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP)
- Establish work schedules that meet the demands of operating and preventive maintenance programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Actively participate in safety and lean programs; support the Ryder culture
