Maintenance Technician – Lease Up

The Maintenance Technician’s primary goal is to provide exceptional service to residents. The Technician works hand-in-hand with the Supervisor to deliver skilled, efficient and professional service.

• Independent technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating & air conditioning, appliances, and other necessary aspects.
• Apartment turnover maintenance within 3-5 business days, completing the turnover checklist, including installation of blinds, filter changes, bulb replacement, drip pan replacement, and miscellaneous repairs.
• Common‑area maintenance: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing windows, emptying trash, pressure washing, etc.
• Monitor exterior building for roof, siding, shutter issues.
• Maintain an effective preventive maintenance program for the area of responsibility.
• Assume primary responsibility for safe condition of all equipment or structures in area of expertise.
• Add newly purchased tools or equipment to inventory.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Observe all safety rules.

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance coverage.
• EPA certification preferred; required campaign property certification within 90 days of employment start.

• Effective time‑management skills and attention to detail.
• Adaptability to change in a composed manner.
• Respect for confidentiality.
• Maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Clear communication with residents.
• Team‑work cooperation.
• Willingness to work on‑call hours.
