Electrical & Low-Voltage Technician - V

Job Description

Comprehensive Communication Services (CCS) designs and builds custom mobile command centers and specialty vehicles for first responders, government agencies, and other organizations.

We are looking for a hands-on Electrical & Low-Voltage Technician who can work with both electrical and communications systems. This is not a residential construction electrician position. The work involves building, wiring, integrating, and troubleshooting systems inside custom command vehicles and trailers.

Responsibilities include:

• 12V DC and 120V AC wiring
• Batteries, inverters, converters and charging systems
• Generators, shore power and transfer systems
• Breakers, distribution panels, relays and electrical components
• CAT6/network cabling and terminations
• Cameras, monitors and communications equipment
• Routers, cellular/LTE equipment and antennas
• Reading wiring diagrams and schematics
• Troubleshooting electrical and low-voltage systems
• Clean wire routing, labeling and professional terminations
• Installation and integration of equipment in custom vehicles and trailers

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone with real hands-on experience who can troubleshoot problems and eventually work independently. Experience in automotive electrical, RV/mobile systems, emergency vehicles, commercial electrical, low-voltage, telecommunications, AV, networking, or similar technical work may be a good fit.

You do not need to know every system we use. We are willing to train the right person, but you should have a solid technical foundation, good troubleshooting skills, and a desire to learn.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM. Fridays off.

Pay: $18–$32/hour depending on experience and ability.
