Our Financial Client is seeking a Senior Power Apps Developer to join our growing technology team. This role will play a key part in designing, developing, and delivering innovative solutions using Microsoft Power Apps as our go-forward platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in traditional application development, a solid understanding of modern software practices, and the ability to guide architectural decisions that support scalable and efficient business solutions.

Position details
Senior Power Apps Developer •
Full Time • 3 days onsite in Farmers Branch, TX
- Design, develop, and deploy applications using Power Apps and related technologies.
- Lead the creation of Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate new capabilities and technical approaches.
- Integrate Power Apps solutions with external data sources
, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide architecture guidance and contribute to platform standards and best practices.
- Utilize source code management tools to maintain clean, version-controlled environments.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Serve as a technical mentor and advisor within the development team.
- 5+ years of software development experience
, with a strong background in traditional application development
. - Hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas, Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages).
- Experience with scripting and front-end technologies
, such as Java or similar languages. - Demonstrated experience connecting Power Apps to external data sources and APIs.
- Strong understanding of Dataverse and SQL
, including key differences and integration approaches. - Familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git) and software development best practices.
- Proven ability to guide architecture decisions and contribute to technical strategy.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
