Never have the opportunities for a technical career been so limitless. This position is with the Core Processing Software (CPSW) team in Fort Worth, TX. This position requires a software engineer to use a wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the software field to develop, integrate, and test software products for the F-35 program.

The candidate will be expected to be a technical lead for a CPSW middleware software test team. Software development and testing experience including requirements analysis, high-level and detailed design, coding, test planning, unit-testing, and CSCI integration testing is desired. The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate must have demonstrated effective pro-active communication skills as the position will require frequent inter-organizational and outside customer interactions.

Experience with C/C++ coding languages, object oriented architectures, and object oriented design is required. Test case development with Python and other scripting languages is required.

Experience with XML based open standards, Common Software Baseline processes, and Agile processes and tools is high desired.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college in a software related major, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Advanced experience with the C and C++ programming languages
- Advanced experience with the Python scripting language

- Experience with large real time software development
- Experience performing qualification testing.
- Ability to obtain DoD secret clearance

- Experience with JSF architecture
- Complete software lifecycle development process and test philosophies

- Experience with software pipelines

- Experience with Git Lab repositories and pipelines

- Experience with testing safety critical software

- Experience with requirements based CSCI testing Parasoft C++ UT
- Experience using the Linux operating system
- Atlassian Collaboration Tools (JIRA)
- Experience in a fast past-paced environment in technical teams across virtual environments
- Team leadership experience
- Mission Systems/Avionics background

- Experience with safety critical and trusted software development process

- Experience with test automation
- Experience utilizing, and testing with JADE/LIDS, & SWAT
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
