- Leading a team of AI Factory engineers to set priorities and execute work within the team vision
- Collaborating with a diverse team of data engineers, AI/ML developers, full stack developers, MLOps teams, and product managers to drive innovation and growth

This position is virtual/full‑time telecommuting with travel as required.
Candidate must be a US citizen.
Desired Skills- Experience in AI engineering discipline and familiarity with Lockheed Martin's AI initiatives
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Go, Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn)
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git, Git Lab)
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization
- Experience with large language models, natural language processing, computer vision, or other AI applications
- Familiarity with model interpretability, explainability, and transparency
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the aerospace and defense industry
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
