• Leading a team of AI Factory engineers to set priorities and execute work within the team vision
• Collaborating with a diverse team of data engineers, AI/ML developers, full stack developers, MLOps teams, and product managers to drive innovation and growth

This position is virtual/full‑time telecommuting with travel as required.

Candidate must be a US citizen.

• Experience in AI engineering discipline and familiarity with Lockheed Martin's AI initiatives
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Go, Python, Java, or C++
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn)
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git, Git Lab)
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization
• Experience with large language models, natural language processing, computer vision, or other AI applications
• Familiarity with model interpretability, explainability, and transparency
• Strong business acumen and understanding of the aerospace and defense industry
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
