What You Will Be Doing

Your responsibilities will support the technology development lifecycle, including system and software design and collaboration to automation tooling and infrastructure improvements. Work will include a multitude of host systems, including aircraft software, simulated systems, and laboratory environments that include constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system simulations.

  • Develop, integrate, support, and build out test automation infrastructure
  • Support the virtual development labs and aircraft software processes
  • Design, develop and leverage open-source, commercial and in-house software to support automation infrastructure
  • Attend and participate in daily scrums, sprint reviews and technical demos
  • Lead small software teams with scope to develop, maintain, and use the test automation infrastructure

Who

You Are

You have experience with itemized planning and prioritization of tasks that drives the efficient execution of objectives. The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-program team and must have demonstrated effective communication skills. The position will require frequent inter-organizational customer interactions. This role is critical to the automation infrastructure, software integration and software build process in support of several programs.

Basic

Qualifications
  • Experience programming in Python
  • Experience programming in C
  • Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows
  • Experience developing infrastructure
  • Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and an interim Secret clearance to start.
Desired Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited college/university in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience programming in Lua
  • Experience with CI tools, such as Jenkins, Git Lab, or Bitbucket
  • Experience with automation tools and development
  • Experience with debugging tools
  • A strong interest in supporting software development for vehicle systems
  • Experience supporting aircraft build pipelines

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time – The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
