• Integrate machine learning and generative AI capabilities into an end-to-end software platform
• Partner with AI/ML practitioners to solve complex problems and design unique solutions
• Work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize requirements for platform improvements and new feature development
• Collaborate with AI Factory infrastructure teams to support new feature development, providing technical expertise and guidance on new products with AI system integration
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and testing to ensure high-quality AI products and systems
• Stay up-to-date with emerging AI technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to improve AI Factory products and systems

As a mid-level engineer, you'll be a strong fit for this role if you have a solid track record of technical expertise and a growing ability to apply strategic thinking to complex problems. You have a strong background in the design and implementation of software platforms and systems, as well as experience with machine learning and generative AI. You're able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.

You’re also a motivated and adaptable individual with a proven ability to learn and take on new challenges, and strong communication skills to effectively work with others in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline
• Experience with Programming and Scripting, such as C++, Java, Python, Go, Bash
• Experience with UI Frameworks such as React, Angular, or Next.js
• Knowledge of GenAI fundamentals (LLMs, RAG, Agents) and ML Frameworks (PyTorch, Tensor Flow, Sci-kit)
• Experience in deploying and maintaining applications on Kubernetes
• Must be a US Citizen

• Experience with Dev Sec Ops , Cloud Native software development practices, and Kubernetes
• Experience with building large scale, high throughput distributed systems
• Experience with RESTful APIs and leveraging for integration between backend services and UIs
• Experience with Package Management such as Helm or Kustomize
• Experience with public cloud computing services, such as AWS, GCP, Azure
• Proven results in executing on infrastructure-intensive programs
• Proven experience collaborating with virtual teams
• Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners
• Creative and resourceful when it comes to problem-solving

The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
