Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in TACL and HPE Non Stop (Tandem) to support a mission‑critical credit card transaction processing platform. This system handles high‑value, real‑time transactions across e‑commerce and retail environments and requires the highest standards of availability, performance, and security. This role is ideal for a developer who can design, enhance, and support Non Stop platform operations, including system health checks, security maintenance, and performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and support applications involved in real‑time credit card transaction processing, including POS swipes and online purchases.
- Work on a high‑performance, high‑availability platform managing large transaction volumes in a 24/7 environment.
- Perform coding, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization of Non Stop applications.
- Design and support HPE Non Stop operational activities, including:
- Password rotations
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless system integration, reliability, and operational stability.
- Support monitoring and performance tools to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
- Strong expertise in TACL and HPE Non Stop (Tandem systems).
- Hands‑on experience with Prognosis and MOMI (Monitoring of Non Stop Information).
- Experience working in high‑volume, high‑availability financial transaction systems.
- Solid programming skills with the ability to write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities in mission‑critical environments.
- Hands‑on experience with Python as a secondary programming language.
- Working knowledge of Java for application or integration support.
- Familiarity with Ansible for scripting and automation (training can be provided).
- Experience with APIs and system integrations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
