We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Java Developer to join our dynamic remote team for a 9+ months project. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Java development and microservices architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, high-performance applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance our clients' digital capabilities.

The Sr. Java Developer will be responsible for developing robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot, integrating with various data stores and messaging systems, and ensuring the overall quality and performance of the software delivered. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on challenging projects in a flexible, remote environment, contributing to impactful solutions that shape the future of technology.

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development with Java (Java 11/17/21).
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, Kafka Streams, and Kafka Connect.
• Proficiency in Apache Cassandra, including data modeling, CQL, clustering keys, and tuning.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts, CAP theorem, and eventual consistency.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Git Lab CI.
• Understanding of observability practices including logging (ELK/EFK), metrics (Prometheus/Grafana), and tracing (Jaeger/Zipkin).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot framework.
• Implement RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures to support complex business workflows.
